Fennedible - Achenes

Name: Achenes
Location: The plains of Ireland
Rarity: Common
Size: The total height of Achenes grows to about 10 inches and the seed grows to roughly a little larger than the typical chicken egg.
Taste: If eaten, it would taste like candycorn.
Danger Level: low
Poisonous: no
Any extra traits: Achenes was modeled after a dandelion seed and floats from place to place according to the wind. It can use its leaves control and even propel itself around. The Achenes cannot see but strands at the top of the stem act as feelers and sensors. The blue glowing seed of the Achenes acts as the nervous system. To attract pray, Achenes produces as sweet smell similar to nectar, has small red flowers, and glows during sundown. When small bugs such as bees, moths and ladybugs approaches and Achenes, it uses the flowers to engulf the bug and using the small teeth inside to cut apart the bug before consuming. Achenes also tend to float in pacts (looks really pretty at night) and are reproduced hundreds at a time since they tend to get caught somewhere and die or get eaten by larger animals.
